A 19-year-old girl from the most fjord-filled region of Western Norway has been living a cave for almost a year with little but a high-grade sleeping bag to get her through the gruelling Norwegian winter.
She moved into her rocky dwelling in May 2013 after deciding she wanted to reduce her environmental impact to close to nothing.
She sleeps in a sleeping bag that can keep you warm in temperatures of
-30C on a bed of straw covered with a mattress and a blanket, and drinks
rainwater she catches in a bowl.
